1871 Census: Thomas, 74, was living at High Fields, Langham with his wife Elizabeth. They had a cook and a housemaid .
1881 Census: Thomas, 84, was a widow. He still lived at the Highfields Farm with 3 servants and his income came from the land.

He obtained a marriage license on 19 Jan 1829. Thomas, a widower, was from Langham, Elizabeth was from St Nicholas, Colchester. The were both over the age of 21.
